With more than 265,000 journal article citations, the Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) at the University of California at Los Angeles is a leading resource for those interested in Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, and Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.
HAPI currently provides over 34,000 links to the full text of articles appearing in more than 500 key social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.
With less than three weeks before an impending deadline, HAPI turned to Radar Blue to help complete the launch of their upgraded site.
Written in PHP with a MySQL backend, the project included adapting an existing database to new functional code, updating the site's "openURL" system and integrating client authentication.
